Kristen Bell isn't pulling any punches when it comes to how she got back into her pre-baby shape after giving birth in March: "I got off my but and got to the gym," the blonde beauty revealed in an interview with USA Today.
Bell, who gave birth to her first child -- daughter Lincoln -- earlier this year, says that there's "no secret" to her rebound other than good old-fashioned hard work. "I started working out when the doctor told me that I could and I kind of put the pedal to the metal ... I'm not doing anything unhealthy and I never would. But I'm trying to eat clean and keep everything on track as best as possible."
Ditching desserts was key, and instead Bell kept her sweet tooth sated with fruits, and packed her meals with lots of veggies and greens.
The actress, who made a name for herself on television in the cult hit series Veronica Mars and later in films like Forgetting Sarah Marshall, also used her hosting duties at the CMT Awards as motivation to ensure she was red carpet-ready.
